Aside from the emotional and psychological effects that losing a parent can have, there is clear evidence that orphaned children are dropping out of school at a higher rate than other children.

This is because of unaffordable school fees, stigmatization because of inadequate uniform and learning materials, low motivation for learning as a result of depression and anxiety, and a low attention span due to hunger.

Our response involves providing bursaries for poor children, providing them with uniforms and learning materials, and supporting school feeding schemes.

We also run mentorship programs that inspire the children to beat their circumstances and encourage them to work hard in school and make a great future for themselves. The mentorship also increases students’ academic, social, and emotional intelligence and put them on a steady path to higher education and model members of society.
